Moira Amado-McCoy
Moira Amado-McCoy has been studying the power of stories change the world for more than 20 years. As a thought leader trouble-shooting problems in communication and ethics (specifically civic discourses and argument theory), she has custom-designing innovative solutions for various industries and disciplines for over 15 years. She has been especially active working at the intersection of business practices, community action, and the academic world.
Dr. Amado-McCoy brings a whip-smart ability to see the big picture, understand the importance of details, translate between diverse stakeholders, and then help teams craft solutions that are better than anyone imagined. She is a speaker and author, specializing in drawing out innate knowledge across diverse audiences. She is a certified professional in learning and performance. She’s creative and yet very very practical.
Moira has a PhD in language theory, and has worked extensively with business concerns, using a sophisticated ability to synthesize and translate complex information for progress. A true bridge-builder, Dr. Amado- McCoy is a real-time collaborator, finding her best energy when making your project work to it’s best advantage. She is absolutely passionate about drawing out the human capital individuals and teams.
Moira is a “Lego Serious Play” Level II certified facilitator, and has a worldwide network of colleagues who support each other’s work with LSP, in a global quest, for ethical and sustainable progress. She is active in the film industry in New Mexico and is a working actor, most recently narrating a short documentary about innovative methods for protecting the Rio Grande by replenishing growth along the bosque.
