What We Do

All In provides powerful and adaptive communication and problem-solving methods to help teams at all levels of an organization reach truly innovative solutions to entrenched problems.

Primarily: We help organizations challenged by calls for innovation to become organizations invigorated—and even defined—by innovation, respect, and sustainability.

The Process

  1. We begin by evaluating your existing environment for the necessary precursors to innovative processes. Invite us in! Each of our processes will be custom-designed, so before we begin, we need to listen—to you, to your team leaders, and to your organizational environment in general.
  2. We’ll then provide a proposal describing the tools and the facilitation methods we believe will increase the insights that your team can make visible and real.
  3. Once on-site with the individuals and teams you’ve selected for development, our facilitator/s will lead team members through various methods that will both bring out their best thinking and that will test the potential outcomes and consequences of the strategies they devise.
  4. As an integral part of our facilitation processes, we employ and launch methods that maximize confidence, commitment, and general “buy in” of each individual.
  5. Finally, we’ll leave you with custom documentation of the complex work your team completed while immersed in their innovation sessions.

Not Coaching, but Knowledge Facilitation

We do what we call “Knowledge Facilitation” at All In, as opposed to “coaching,” because we believe the answers to the challenges you face are already resident on your teams—so our job is to bring those talents to the surface, to facilitate team genius.

We also recognize that any training and/or facilitation we do, whether a meeting, a workshop, a series of workshops, or even a weekend retreat has to be custom designed—for your very specific vision, culture, talent pool, management style, and challenges. A cookie-cutter “template” training session simply won’t do.

Enterprise Learning Solutions

We think of “facilitating knowledge” within organizations as “enterprise learning solutions,” because it is calls for training and development that is unique to enterprise. Enterprise is defined by change, and by the “complexity gap” which  constant change always engenders. Facilitating knowledge, then, requires specialized methods: methods that increase understanding, level the playing field, guarantee 100% participation from all team members, respect individual contribution, and create commitment to collaborative solutions. This is where innovation takes root.

Deeply Held Knowledge

To find innovative solutions within these complexity gaps, facilitators are trained to tap into deeply held knowledge. When individual insight and group genius is fully articulated, teams are then able to apply this “new” knowledge to “right now” problems and design actionable solutions. Discerning innovative and actionable solutions within complexity gaps means understanding how ideas, opportunities, problems, visions, and lenses are interrelated. Our methods are designed to engage collective wisdom and tease out systems thinking. Simultaneously, a variety of actions can then be “played out,” so that the outcomes preferable to the enterprise can become transparent. When teams understand, build, consider consequence, and make adjustments for outcomes, they can then move forward with commitment and confidence.

Analytic & Affective Thinking

Our methods combine both analytic and affective thinking, honor hand and brain knowledge and the way they work together, and utilize both storytelling and science. Taking account of the “whole person,” in our experience, is the reason “group genius” emerges from a team totally at ease with itself.

The need to tease out intention and solution from complexity demands attention to what we’ve begun to understand as the 3Cs of creativity: Context, Cognitive processing, and Culture.
