Reimagining Personal/Professional DevelopmentCustom Courses and Certifications
There are innumerable ways to learn, innumerable learning situations, and innumerable situations and people to learn from.
Unfortunately, there are a very limited number of ways to make that learning visible and consequential in terms that are recognized by formal educational institutions and broader career ecosystems.
Those institutions in our communities that are tasked with the bulk of recognized educational credentialing (schools, colleges, and universities) require enrollment in formal programs and dictate that learning follow prescribed paths.
Although we are obviously sympathetic to formal higher education (our Director is a Ph.D. and often teaches for the university), at All Innovation, we aim to be a part of the learning ecosystem that honors all types of learning and learners, and we’ve decided to do that, well….in innovative ways!
So, we’re devising ways to mark your team’s learning achievements. As with each All Innovation service, we will work with you to not only custom-design your course and your certifications, but to make sure these distinctions and accomplishments are recognized by the broadest possible relevant audiences AND that they are transportable –that they move and grow with you. For example:
Curriculum Design
It’s not always easy to know where to start. You might know that you’d like to work on team building, for example, or cross-cultural communication, or perhaps you have a corporate imperative to build trust across your customer base. Maybe you’d actually like to add innovation processes across all your team activity.
This is great, and they are great goals, but getting there is another matter all together.
At All In, we’ll design curriculum for your specific needs and purposes.
CE Certification
We are able to provide Continuing Education credits in most cases. We’ll work on this on a case-by-case basis for the most part, but Dr. Amado-McCoy’s formal credentials and her experience usually make the process of petitioning your own credentialing agency entity fairly straight forward.
Open Badges Program
In late 2011, Mozilla and the MacArthur Foundation came together to find ways to reward learners for the study and experience they were gaining outside of school. By late 2012, Mozilla’s Open Badges project, and the launch of the Mozilla Open Badge Backpack (MOBB) makes it possible for All In to issue Badges participants earn in specific workshops and for specific employers. Like all Badges, All In Badges are designed as a way to provide “broad recognition of 21st century skills, unlock career and educational opportunities, and assure that learners can take their Badges with them in a digital portfolio, or “Backpack.” This Digital Backpack is recognized within the Badges Ecosystem, and is gaining in popularity and recognition every year.
